Somatic Integration
for altered states and deep journeys
somatic integration sessions
You’ve touched deeper layers of your being - perhaps felt, released, or glimpsed truths about yourself and your place in the world. Yet the most important part begins after the experience - in the stage known as integration.
Integration is how insights take root in daily life.
It is the bridge between what you’ve seen and how you live.
I often meet people who have had profound realizations, yet feel a gap between their current reality and the person they sense they are meant to embody. The insight is there, but something hasn’t landed yet.
Our goal is to bridge your insight into tangible action and embodiment.
By working at the pace of the body, we can process and release the deeper patterns held within the nervous system which are holding us back,
and create space for new neural and somatic pathways to form. and find resources for you to come back to in daily life.
Integration is a way of life. It is not a quick fix. It is showing up when we don’t want to. It is a sacred, slow process that requires trust. That overtime we harvest the fruits of our labor, in the form of peace, aliveness and presence.
What does this look like practically?
𓆃If you saw your inner child, perhaps it means speaking to yourself more gently, or creating time to play.
𓆃If you felt deep grief, perhaps it means giving yourself permission to cry when it comes, and not numbing it away.
𓆃If you saw a vision of your future self, perhaps it means taking one small step toward that version - changing a habit, setting a boundary, or beginning a new creative expression.
𓆃If you felt love for the Earth, it might look like walking barefoot more often, tending to plants, or reducing harm where you can.
𓆃If you realized you have been hard on yourself, it might mean practicing self-compassion instead of criticism.
𓆃If your nervous system felt a deeper sense of peace, it means finding resources and practices to help you return to that state in daily life.
Common myth: Integration is not solely about shadow work and resolving trauma imprints. Plant medicine experiences can also serve as resources for personal growth, strength, illumination, and connecting with higher, loving, and wise aspects of ourselves.
The session
I offer trauma-informed, body-centered integration sessions. Drawing on Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and somatic psychology, we let the wisdom of the body guide.
In a session, we may:
Create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your journey
Use somatic inquiry to unravel and make meaning of your experience
Deepen your relationship with the plant medicine you worked with
Find and expand on the resources, knowledge, and insights gained during the plant medicine journey
Create an action plan for ongoing transformation
These sessions are for you if:
You’ve recently had a plant medicine / altered state experience and want support in making meaning of it
You want to prepare for an upcoming journey with more clarity and grounding
You feel tender or confused after a psychedelic experience and want help processing it
You wish to embody your insights in your daily life
Deepen your mind – body connection
practicalities

Depending on where we are in the world, the session takes place either online or in person.
For online sessions you will receive a Google meet video call link.
-
One session lasts 60-75 minutes. Multiple sessions can be useful, especially if there are multiple themes you would like to explore. In that case I also provide check ins in between our sessions to deepen the journey.
I trust that you know what depth and duration of support you need on your journey. However, we can also figure it out together in a short consultation call and create a tailored plan.

You can request a session here.
I provide my open spots in my calender. If none of the dates work for you or we are in different time zones, please reach out directly so we can find a time that works for both of us.
Before booking, I recommend for us to arrange a short connection call, so we can figure out whether the somatic approach and we resonate with each other - which is the foundation of this work. It is also a chance for you to share some context and as well as ask any questions.
If you book directly, I recommend providing some background info about your journey, and your intention, so I can best prepare for our session. You can do this in the google meet link I will send to your email.

No, not at all. Your experience can be a day prior or 10 years prior. If you can still recall it, we likely can access it. This is part of the beauty and intelligence with working with altered states.
The body and nervous system, in fact, cannot fully distinguish between our thoughts and present reality. If a story is told, the body experiences that in the Now.
Even experiences that lay far in the past can still provide us with resources and insight now.
The advantage with doing integration work shortly after a plant medicine experience is that we have neuroplasticity on our side. Processing and creating new somatic pathways can be more easeful in the days after. So if you are able to book a session in close proximity, it is recommended.

bonus: why bring somatics into integration?
“I would rather be whole than good.” — C.G. Jung
Plant medicines open doorways - but it is the body that must walk through them.
Insight becomes wisdom only when it is embodied.
Somatic work supports a bottom-up process, beginning not with interpretation, but with sensation. The body is tells a story that the mind often cannot.
Through somatic inquiry, we enter into conversation with the body. We slow down enough to listen - to a story that often exists beyond words, sometimes a deeper truth that goes to the core material, expressed through sensations, breath, tension, and release.
Many of our most influential internal processes are:
pre-verbal
pre-cognitive
stored as implicit memory
They live in how we speak up for ourselves, how we take action where we once shut down, and how we practice self-care where we once self-abandoned.
Psychedelic experiences often touch these deep, non-verbal layers. When we return from an experience, what is often missing is sustained attention to the body’s experience, where so much information and intelligence lives.
Somatic work naturally engages with parts work - allowing us to meet the aspects of ourselves that protect, guard, and adapt for our survival. These parts are not obstacles; they are intelligent responses shaped by lived experience. Through deep somatic sessions, we release the ones that do no longer serve our becoming, while finding more fitting resources that support us through ups and downs of life. By working at the pace of the nervous system, somatics allows insights to settle, reorganize, and integrate.
Ultimately, it brings us closer to the felt sensation of inhabiting this body, and becoming who we really are.
